Foundation for Bolivian Artists proudly presents Kantuta Concerts, Opus 1, an evening of piano music with its first scholarship recital recipient, Sergio Escalera Soria. Selected from a global pool of applicants, Sergio comes to NYC to make his recital debut.

Foundation for Bolivian Artists gives classical musicians of Bolivian background access to the world’s most prestigious career opportunities while highlighting the underrepresented music of Bolivian composers through its programming.

This recital will feature Western European classics alongside compositions that highlight the rich tapestry of Latin American piano sonorities including repertoire by lesser-known Bolivian composers.
